AIDEN UPDATE

Aiden is doing ok right now he just got his hair cut. and its pretty short. he goes into the hospital today for about 6 days for another round of chemo. his daddy is going down thee but can only stay a few days. so please pray for them all as this will be a tougher round on him. Also pray that he doesn't get to sick. I talked to courtney last night and evidently about 80% of patients there are from Louisiana but Jindal wont test the water i think we all need to write to him and say hey something needs to be done its sad that every other car there is from Louisiana. anyways if your interested in helping out with one of the fundraisers we have going on please email me at andytamiblack@yahoo.com and put in the subject line fundraisers. and i will send u all the info to the fundraisers we have going. all money raised will go towards the family so they can pay bills and pay for things they need as courtney had to quit her job to take him to memphis. whatever they have leftover when all is said and done will get donated to st. judes. Update from Courtney

this is an update from yesterday. just waiting for another ultra sound on his kidney. They want to make sure everything is just fine before we start chemo...We move into the target house on monday, which is good news!!!

sorry it took me a bit to update this. yesterday when they put in the line they knicked his lung. so he had to stay in the hospital they did an x-ray and everything looks fine he is now back "home" and doing good and napping. tomorrow is another day full of appointments. Have faith and keep Praying

I just left the operating room. PLease remember little man as they put his line in him. I hope and pray he wakes up as well as he did yesterday! I will keep everyone posted. I have been taking pictures but I need to learn how to put them on my page from my phone. Anyways I will keep you updated as much as I can!

AIDEN UPDATE

Aiden is out of his pet scan and bone marrow test and did awesome. Dont know any results but he did great and they got a great sample... Hes actually eating right now. Got a couple of more appointments then we r done for the day. Tomorrow is the big surgery/scary day

CHEMO will wait until next tuesday his tonsils arnt healed enough from the tonsillectomy so they will wait.

Update from Courtney

Aiden is in his PET scan and then headed straight to his Bone Marrow Test. We are waiting and they actually have computers so I don't have to use my cell phone. I hope and pray that all is ok back there. God is Rock and he will carry me through this, along with Aiden and Daniel. Our faith is unshakable! I will update as soon as I can and let you know who Aiden is doing...Once he is settled. I am so thankful for each and ever one of yall praying!

Thank you for taking the time to check up on Aiden. Here is what i have been told by his mother. Aiden went in for a routine tonsillectomy and they biopsied them. They then came back cancerous they were double checked and came back positive again. They are now in Memphis TN at St Jude's. He has been diagnosed with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. He will have to be there for 4-6 months for treatment. Which will include chemotherapy. they are doing a scan today to see if it has spread i believe. and he is having some sort of surgery I'm not clear on what yet. He is a very special little boy. His mama was not supposed to have kids due to the fact she has a rare heart condition. So he is a miracle baby as it is. He has touched so many lives and we love and miss him. There will be a few of us updating this as I'm currently stationed in Germany. But continue to pray for Aiden.
